BIOGRAFÍA / BIOGRAPHY🇪🇸 Marlén (Oviedo, España) es una artista autodidacta, cuyo trabajo emerge de un profundo proceso de transformación personal. Sus primeros pasos en el arte comenzaron hace años en la Escuela de Artes de Oviedo, donde desarrolló su sensibilidad estética y su conexión inicial con la pintura. Tras más de dos décadas dedicada al derecho inmobiliario, los negocios y la comunicación profesional, la vida la llevó de regreso al acto esencial de crear.En su etapa actual, trabaja bajo la orientación del coleccionista José Vigil y del artista plástico Humberto, quienes acompañan su evolución técnica y conceptual. Su estilo fusiona lo orgánico con lo cósmico, explorando temas como la luz, el movimiento, la armonía universal y la conciencia. Actualmente expone en MundoArti (Exposición Virtual 2025) y forma parte de Saatchi Art (New York – Chelsea).🇺🇸 Marlén (Oviedo, Spain) is a self-taught artist whose work emerges from a profound personal transformation. Her first encounter with art began years ago at the Oviedo School of Arts. After more than two decades in real estate law, business, and professional communication, life brought her back to the essential act of creating.She currently works under the guidance of art collector José Vigil and plastic artist Humberto. Her work blends organic and cosmic elements and explores themes such as light, movement, harmony, and consciousness. She currently exhibits in MundoArti (Virtual Exhibition 2025) and is represented on Saatchi Art (New York – Chelsea).

DECLARACIÓN ARTÍSTICA / ARTIST STATEMENT🇪🇸 Mi trabajo nace del deseo profundo de explorar el origen de la energía que nos mueve. Pinto para comprender aquello que no se puede nombrar: las fuerzas internas que chocan, se transforman y dan lugar a la luz, al movimiento y a la vida. Cada obra es una fase de ese recorrido, un espacio donde la materia emocional encuentra forma a través del color, la textura y el gesto.
En La Creación, investigo el tránsito entre lo primigenio y lo consciente, entre el caos inicial y la mirada que finalmente interpreta. Me interesa cómo la luz ordena, cómo la expansión revela, cómo la intuición abre caminos que la razón aún no reconoce. Mi pintura es un mapa íntimo del origen, un diálogo entre lo que nace, lo que evoluciona y lo que despierta dentro de mí.🇺🇸 My work emerges from a deep need to explore the origin of the energy that moves us. I paint to understand what cannot be named—the inner forces that collide, transform, and give way to light, movement, and life.
Each piece represents a stage of that journey, a space where emotional matter takes shape through color, texture, and gesture.
In The Creation, I explore the passage between the primal and the conscious, between the initial chaos and the gaze that ultimately interprets it.
I am drawn to the way light organizes, how expansion reveals, and how intuition opens paths that reason has yet to recognize. My painting is an intimate map of origin a dialogue between what is born, what evolves, and what awakens within me.
